| Iran Statistical Yearbook 1385 (2006-2007) |
|
2006-2007 Iran Statistical Yearbook is published in circulation of 2000 copies and price of 100000 Rials in March 2007. It is released in hard copy and CD – Rom edition and two separated volumes, Persian and English.
According to published data, in 1385, I.R. of Iran was divided into 30 Ostans (provinces), 336 Shahrestans (sub-provinces), 889 Bakhshes (counties), 1016 Shahrs (cities) and 2400 Dehestans (rural agglomerations).
During the year 1385, a total of 1.3 million births was registered, 48.7% of which were females. Moreover, about 778000 marriage and 94000 divorces were recorded over the year 1385, showing a decrease of 1.2% in the number of marriages and a rise of 11.6% in the number of divorces.

| The publication contains a selection of Iran Statistical Yearbook data in 22chapters.Presented data draws socioy-economic view of the country, other than 22nd chapter which provides international statistics to draw a broader view for users. On the basis of published data, there were 43 million tones imported commodities with value of 384000 billion Rials (US $ 42 billion) which increased %8 in comparison to last year. It is worth mentioning that United Arab Emirates (22% of total value), Germany (2% of total value), China (7% of total value) have the most import value by Rial value. |

This publication is about the Urban households expenditure and income in 1384, which has done by appling to 12925 sample households with 52605 population in a 12 months period.
According to these information, the average annual expenditure of Urban households, was 59242426 rials which 24/1 percent and 75/9 percent was for eating and tobacco expenditure and inedible expenditures respectively.
The average annual expenditure of Urban household to the same number in 1383, has increased 15/1 percent. Eating and tobacco expenditures to 1383, 8/0 percent and inedible expenditure 17/5 percent has increased respectively.

This publication is about the rural households expenditure and income in 1384, which has done by appling to 13970 sample households with 66078 population in a 12 months period.
According to these information, in 1384, 89/6 percent of applied households has used piped water, 98/5 percent from electricity, 18/7 percent from piped gas, 63/8 percent from bathroom, 26/8 percent from air conditioner, 58/2 percent from telephone, 0/5 percent from central heating facilities (radiator), and 0/8 percent from internet , also 73/4 percent of applied households has used kitchen in their home.

This publication is about the census results of sea transportation in 1383.
According to this publication, in 1383 the total number of employees in workrooms with helping sea transportation efforts was 4915 which represents that 41 person are working in each workroom on the average.
In the total employees of these workrooms, 4546 (92/5 percent) was full time and the rest was part time employees .Also in the total employees of these workrooms in 1383, 4804 (97/7 percent) and 1/8 was wage earner and without wage respectively.

According to the information of this publication, at the end of fall 1385, about 13/7 million of cell phone numbers and 22 Million of fixed phone number were active, that in comparison with similar month of previous year has increased 70/4 and 12/9 respectively. |

This publication is about the census results of manpower in fall 1385. there are information such as changes of main indices of manpower in fall 85 to summer 85 and in fall 85 to fall 84 for total country.
According to information of this publication in fall unemployment ratio of population aged 10 and over was 1/6 in total country. This index has estimated 10/2 and 17/6 between men and women respectively. Also, results represent that unemployment ratio in urban areas is more than rural areas and this ratio is 13/5 and 7/9 in urban and rural areas respectively.
