Execution of 3rd Socio-economic Census of Nomadic Tribes
Census of Nomadic
3rd Census of Nomadic Tribes of
the I.R. of Iran will be conducted for 20 days starting from 22nd
June 2008. The census objective is collecting necessary data for
planners and administrative organizations, in order to provide a better
life for nomadic tribes. Type of last migration, migration path from
winter resorts to summer resorts and vice-versa, settlement duration,
amount of production and sale of livestock and household handicrafts,
main fuel for cooking and heating, average number of livestock, number
of agricultural holdings, agricultural lands area and type of ownership,
sources of drinking water, etc are some items that will be collected by
the census.
