Iran is one of the oil rich countries of the world, being the second largest gas producer as well. At the end of 1385 the annual crude oil production capacity of the country has developed to 1561 m., barrels, with 9 refineries in full operation. In the course of this year, crude exports have been 888m., barrels, which shows 7.6 % decline compared to the previous year. The export of oil processed products has been 42 m., liters per day which has increased 10.5 % compared to the previous year. In the year of this survey, output of some of the petroleum products (in cu., m., / day) in all refineries of the country have been LG 8016, vehicle gasoline 44664, kerosene 21048 and gas oil 80473. In the same year, Abadan Refinery has produced 57485 cu., m., / day petroleum by-products, which has had the highest share in total productions of all refineries in the country.Isfahan and Bandar Abbas has been the second and third largest refineries in this respect. In 1385, 464 million cu., m., /day of enriched gas has been produced in the country, and up to the end of the same year, of 1016 cities of the country, 616 (61 %) have been supplied by L.G through Gas Grid and 82 more cities were being supplied by this liquid. At the end of 1385 the gross power generation has raised up to 192 billion kw., /hrs., and so more 50 thousand villages of the country has been supplied with the electricity. Having said, more than 20624 thousand units have been the power subscribers to the Ministry of Energy and its affiliated institutions. The Water and Swage Companies have supplied more than 5.94 billion cu., m., of water to the cities and one thousand million cu., m., to the rural areas. The water grid and the extensions in urban areas have been respectively 120 thousand km., and 10 million items and 120 thousand km., and 3 million extensions in rural regions.
